Sicily .. land of colors, traditions, fragrances but especially flavors ...
My name is Massimo Tomarchio and since I was 10 years are particularly attracted by the typical Sicilian food.
When I’ m was a child, I was always curious to know what my mother or my grandmother cooking for lunch…. and I’m spent a lot of time with them during the preparation of their dishes.
On my fondest memories, will stay those passed in the kitchen with my grandmother… a very good Cook!!
Together we prepared several meals typical of the Sicilian tradition,  as for example, pasta,  macaroni,  meatballs with sauce, caponata and much much more …
The typical Sicilian cuisine stands out not only by the variety of products offered from the land ...
Distinguishes it self ... also,  from the passion and the love that born to stand behind the stoves when they cooking for their loved ones.
These two women are for me the main source of inspiration for what I do today with love.

We had a great experience with chef Massimo. Even though all the open markets and shops were closed (26 of Dec) we found what we need in a small grocery. We prepared caponata, cauliflower, macaroni, fish and beef all the sicilian way! Chef Massimo gave us lots of good tips and informations on top of the recipes. Of course we had a super lunch together with nice sicilian wine at the end. A day that will stay in our
mind for ever!

Lots of fun shopping & cooking, and of course, eating our wonderful lunch. Chef Massimo cheerfully accomodated dietary restrictions for 2 of us. He patiently taught all & encouraged beginning cooks to get hands on. He was gracious and so enthusiastic about the food and Sicilan culture. Also gave us a fantastic tip on the best gelato & granite in Taormina (C&G -- don't miss it). Definitely recommend Massimo's class.

Massimo! Absolutely loved taking this class and learning different cooking techniques. Best experience from the cruise I took with my mom and several of her friends, that became family! I would highly recommend taking this class if you want to learn and have LOTS of fun!!

Thank you for a wonderful cooking class that my husband experienced with you back in September. Thank you so much for letting me come back and have lunch and watch the end of the class. It was a very memorable meal and moment of our vacation in Sicily. I was wondering if you could send us the recipes for the Caponata and the other foods that they created and cooked that day. It would be much appreciated.

Hope you are well and your business is vibrant. I enjoyed spending time with you learning to shop and cook 'Sicilian ' style. The food and flavors reminded me exactly of the way my grandmother cooked. I want to try some of it out on Christmas Eve. (My husband Tom DiBenedetto loved everything I cooked that day.
